Pond maintenance should be carried out on a regular basis to prevent the build up of harmful waste and bacteria in the pond/water feature or the pond filtration

Water quality/clarity is very important for the health of the fish and your enjoyment of the water feature. Regular servicing of pond equipment can prolong the life of your equipment and will keep your pond/water feature looking great.

Most manufacturers recommend that pumps and equipment are maintained regularly to meet with their guarantees and to keep the pond equipment running properly and to its full potential.
             

Regular maintenance

As part of a regular service plan we will:
             
*          Clean the filter thoroughly
*          Bottom drain purging
*          Water change
*          Advise on when blanket weed treatment is required
*          Carry out water quality tests
*          Make sure all the pond equipment is working correctly
*          Remove debris from the pond
*          Check all UV bulbs are working
*          Check all hoses/pipe work for signs of leaks
             
We recommend this service is carried out on a minimum monthly visit basis however to keep your pond in tip top condition a fortnightly visit or even a weekly visit may be required, we will advise you on this on our first visit. However should you wish to have the works carried out on a more or less frequent basis please feel free to discuss this with us.
